Activate Chase Freedom 5% cash back

It’s that time again: activate your Chase Freedom 5% cash back!
The Chase Freedom credit card earns 5% cash back on rotating categories every quarter.  Click here to activate your 5% cash back for this next quarter. You can also set up reminders to activate the next 5% categories by email or text.

Once activated, your Chase Freedom card will earn you 5% cash back on up to $1,500 spent at gas stations and restaurants from July 1st to September 30th.
Filling up on gas and dining out at restaurants are probably two of your most popular spend categories.  Make sure to maximize your rewards with these purchases.

The Chase Freedom card is one of the best credit cards to keep.  As I’ve shared before, it connects nicely to a Chase checking account with the 10 and 10 exclusives program.  This program allows you to earn 10% extra points per $1 you spend on your Freedom card, as well as 10 bonus points on every purchase you make on your Freedom card.

Right now, the bonus for signing up for the Chase Freedom credit card is only $100 after spending $500 within the first 3 months.  You can apply  here  (I don’t get any commission for your signup).  You can also wait for a possible bigger sign up bonus to pop up in the future, although there are no guarantees this will happen.  When I signed up for the Freedom card, my bonus offer was $300 cash after first purchase.  Other people have received bonuses as high as $350 for signing up for the Freedom card.

If you don’t already have a Chase Freedom card, you should seriously consider it.  You can apply for the Freedom card here.  It’s definitely one of my must have cards, and it retains a permanent place in my wallet.

Here's a list of the 5% rotating categories for the rest of the year:
