Miles for Netflix

As I’ve shared before, I think paid subscription television is a waste of money (for me).  Obviously if you are a big sports fan or absolutely have to watch live television, paid subscription television may be an option for you.

But if you’re like myself and don’t have a need to watch live television, you can really save thousands of dollars in the long run by cancelling your subscription television service and switching to a streaming movie service such as Netflix

If you haven’t signed up for Netflix yet and are interested in scoring some free miles, there are two great current offers out there:
1.  Earn 2,500 American Airlines miles for signing up for Netflix

2.  Earn up to 4,000 United Airlines miles for signing up for Netflix (2,000 miles when you become a paying member of Netflix, and another 2,000 miles when you pay with your MileagePlus United credit card.

The most basic version of streaming Netflix (which is what I use) runs $7.99 a month.

Bonus miles will take around 8-10 weeks to post.  You don't need to have either airlines' credit card to earn these miles.  It’s free miles for a great service.  Miles are an extra form of currency and the more miles you have, the better.
