New Chase credit card bonuses

Edit: this deal is now expired

I did not have much time to monitor for new credit card deals while on vacation. While this may be old news to many, I figured it was still worth sharing.

Earn 50,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months from account opening.

This is a hot deal because for the longest time, the Chase Sapphire Preferred sign up bonus was 40,000 points.

Without a doubt, the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card is one of my favorite cards. You can earn 2x points on travel and dining at restaurants. There is also a 7% annual points dividend on all new points earned on purchases throughout the year. There are no foreign transaction fees.

This deal gets even better because you can earn an additional 5,000 Ultimate Rewards points after you add the first authorized user and make a purchase in the first 3 months.

The best feature of the card is that you can transfer Ultimate Rewards points to multiple travel partners including: British Airways, Korean Air, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Hyatt, Amtrak, Marriott, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Ritz Carlton.

1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points equal 1,000 partner miles / points.
This new deal is a no brainer and I highly recommend that you sign up before the bonus changes.

One interesting thing about this card is that the annual fee (free the first year) has now been increased from $95 to $125.

Earn 20,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points with the Chase Freedom credit card after you spend $500 in the first 3 months from account opening. Also you can earn 5x points on up to $1,500 spent in bonus categories each quarter.

This is a hot deal because the Freedom card normally only has a $100 (10,000 point) sign up bonus. This card has no annual fee and is definitely a long term card to hold onto. Ultimate Rewards points earned with this card do not transfer to travel partners. You will need to have a Chase premium credit card (Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Plus, or JP Morgan Palladium card) for the ability to transfer to travel partners.

Good news is that you can earn Ultimate Rewards points with your Freedom card, and then transfer those points to your Chase Sapphire Preferred card account (or other premium Chase card).

You can apply for a Chase Freedom card here.

I do not receive any compensation for these credit card sign-ups.  These deals are just too hot to ignore that I had to post about them.
