The great thing about doing side
hustles to generate extra income is that you can hustle on your own terms. The more hard work, time, and creative effort
you put in, the more extra money you can make.
You can hustle as little or as much as you want, whenever you want. It’s your extra money, and you can choose how
you want to spend it. Instead of focusing on what ideas don’t apply to you,
try focusing on different side hustle ideas that you can implement to work for
your situation.
Once a month (usually on the 1st), I like to post a
short summary of our personal and financial situation for the previous month. While I don’t often post articles, I am
committed to documenting all of my side hustle income. Here I’ll share some of what’s been going on
with our lives and our side hustles.
Welcome
to November! Did you have a good October? This past month has been one of our busiest
months with the family. We have gone out
for some kind of family activity every Saturday and Sunday in October!
The
La Habra Children’s Museum has a new
dinosaur exhibit that just opened up in October. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect as
our son is currently obsessed with dinosaurs.
He got to dress up like an archeologist and go through a jungle maze
filled with different kinds of dinosaurs.
Our kids searched for dinosaur bones in the sand pit. We visited the children’s museum 3 times in
October. Our kids know their way around
the museum pretty well!
The
Aquarium of the Pacific in Long
Beach is another favorite destination for our kids to visit. Sea life is so fascinating and
beautiful. Our kids love exploring the
aquarium and seeing all the different sea creatures on display. Our son got to touch sharks, sea anemones,
and even jellyfish!
The gift shop is my
son’s favorite exhibit, as he treats it like a toy store and library. I’m glad we have season passes here,
otherwise, we would feel like we aren’t getting our money’s worth by spending
so much time in the gift shop. We
visited the Aquarium of the Pacific 4 times in October.
No
October is complete without a trip to a pumpkin patch. We took the family to Irvine Regional Park, where the
kids got to ride a real 1/3 scale train, run through a hay maze, and check out
tons of pumpkins.
A
new fun kids place we discovered was Wonder of Dinosaurs, located in
Redondo Beach inside the South Bay Galleria mall. This 2 story amusement park is filled with a
dinosaur museum, tons of fun bounce houses, motorized dinosaur rides, and even
miniature golf. The kids got a chance to
get up close to life-like dinosaurs.
They loved hopping around the difference bounce structures. There was even a dinosaur maze to run
through!
This
was the second year of going trick-or-treat in our neighborhood. Our son was a shark and our daughter was a
chicken. They had a blast visiting all
of our neighbors and getting lots of candy.
Here’s
our monthly summary of side income that we have generated in the previous month
of October.
