The great thing about doing side
hustles to generate extra income is that you can hustle on your own terms. The more hard work, time, and creative effort
you put in, the more extra money you can make.
You can hustle as little or as much as you want, whenever you want. It’s your extra money, and you can choose how
you want to spend it. Instead of focusing on what ideas don’t apply to you,
try focusing on different side hustle ideas that you can implement to work for
your situation.
Once a month (usually on the 1st), I like to post a
short summary of our personal and financial situation for the previous month. While I don’t often post articles, I am
committed to documenting all of my side hustle income. Here I’ll share some of what’s been going on
with our lives and our side hustles.
Welcome
to March! Did you have a good February? As with other months, February just seemed to
fly by. Since our daughter joined our
family, time seems to progress at hyper speed.
Our kids are growing so fast. We
continue to work hard so that we can provide for them.
Our
son loves going to the local park, which is a short walk from our home. This past month, we’ve spent hours and hours
at the park. He just doesn’t want to go
home! He will go up and down the slide,
swing on the swings, and build sand castles in the sand. I love seeing the little guy use his
imagination while entertaining himself.
Going to the park seems to be the highlight of our weekends now. Best part is that it doesn’t cost any money!

Here’s
our monthly summary of side income that we have generated in the previous month
of February.
Cash Back
On 2.1, I received $10.23 deposit in my Discover Cashback Checking account. This is 1% cashback from paying our rental
property with my Discover debit card. It's too bad we can't pay our personal mortgage or property taxes with the Discover debit card.
Rental Income
On 2.5, we received a net profit of $430 from our rental property.
Side job income
On 2.15, I received a direct deposit of $187.50 for teaching at the local
university. Teaching continues to be one
of my favorite side hustles.
Monthly Totals:
We earned $10.23
from cash back
We earned $430 from rental income
I earned $187.50
from my side job teaching
All of this totals $627.73 from our
side hustles for the month of February! It’s been a slow month of side hustle income for us as we’ve been too busy just having fun!
